Event:   ASM CAT Weekend Workshops
Description:   The event will include workshops, entitled Historical Overview, Projectile Points & Lithics ID, and Basic Lab Procedures.   In addition, there will be a Plenary Keynote Speaker, Cynthia Goode (American University), on the Great Dismal Swamp Landscape Study Project and CAT Graduate Award Presentation.   Contact the CAT Committee Chair, Alex McPhail, for more details.

December 11, 2011 (9:00am - 3:00pm):  
Event:   AACAS Dig Day at Providence Farm Site in Centreville, MD located in Queen Anne County.
Description:   This is a wonderful opportunity to work on an 18th century site in Centreville, MD just over the bridge in Queen Anne County. The house was built in 1746, the owner is taking down a 1910 addition and there are the remains of a brick building, likely an old kitchen under the addition. ACCAS will have access to the site for months.
